Estate Planning Attorney -
Succession Opportunity with Established Firm

Socius Law Group, PLLC, seeks an experienced estate planning attorney with a growing book of business to join the firm and take over the practices of two senior estate planning/tax attorneys preparing for retirement. If you are ready to grow your practice, expand your impact, and lead the next generation of a respected firm, this opportunity is for you.

This position offers:

Instant Practice Growth – Absorb a robust client base and benefit from decades of goodwill and referrals.

Seamless Transition Support – Work alongside the retiring attorneys as they introduce you to clients and referral partners.

Partnership / Ownership Track – Position yourself as a future leader in the firm with a track toward equity partnership.

Infrastructure in Place – Skilled paralegal support, associate attorney support, technology systems, and administrative support enable you to focus on practicing law, not managing the back office.

Who We Are Looking For:

  • Licensed attorney with 5-10+ years in estate planning, trust administration, probate, and tax planning.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset and ambition to grow and lead a practice.

  • Desire to nurture and expand client relationships.

  • LLM in Taxation or CPA designation is a plus but not required.

Your Role:

  • Serve and retain an established client base while servicing your own book of business.

  • Continue building referral relationships with financial advisors, accountants, and other professionals.

  • Provide strategic legal guidance in estate planning, tax planning, probate, and trust administration.

Location: Seattle, Washington – hybrid optional

This is a unique succession opportunity for an attorney ready to expand beyond the limitations of solo practice or small firms, or for attorneys in a large firm setting to enjoy the financial benefits of not contributing to large-firm overhead. You can build on a strong foundation, gain the potential to scale quickly, and secure a future leadership role in a thriving practice and firm.
