Legal Experience
Natalie practices in the real estate and business areas. She offers clients common-sense lawyering that focuses on their goals and the steps necessary to achieve them.
Her real estate work includes negotiating and documenting a full range of real estate transactions on behalf of developers, buyers, sellers, landlords and tenants. Her business work includes assisting business owners in forming business entities, devising ways to protect clients' business and personal assets, negotiating and structuring mergers and acquisitions and counseling businesses on governance and operational issues.
Washington Law & Politics Magazine has recognized Natalie's achievements by naming her a "Rising Star" six years in a row. This designation is reserved for fewer than 2.5 percent of all lawyers in Washington State.
Representative Matters
- Regularly negotiates retail leases on behalf of landlords of large, first-class development projects
- Regularly represents clients in purchases and sales of commercial real estate involving IRC 1031 exchanges
- Forms non-profit entities and qualifies them under IRC 501(c)(3)
- Forms and provides ongoing governance advice for large residential real estate development projects
Personal
Natalie and her husband, also a lawyer, have two children. They enjoy traveling and restoring historic homes.
